Meet The Team

Dr Thakor has a keen interest in Teeth Whitening and Teeth Straightening. He enjoys creating smile transformations through Cosmetic Dentistry, and seeing patients grow in confidence. He is a Dental Foundation Trainer and received an award for Educational Supervisor of the year. Dr Thakor is an Invisalign and CFast provider, and recognised Enlighten Whitening provider.

Dr Shah is a Dental Foundation Trainer and has been for 16 years. He is an Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles provider, a recognised Enlighten Whitening provider and a member of British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has a keen interest in full mouth restorations and Facial Rejuvenation using the latest technology treatment.

Dr Desai is the secretary of a Local Dental Committee and plays a pivotal role in helping deliver dentistry in Leicestershire. Dr Desai is also a Dental Foundation Trainer. He has a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign and Facial Aesthetics.

Dr Vara has worked at Brookview Dental since 2018 after relocating here from Queens Road Dental Care. He has a keen interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment ).

Sawan likes helping patients feel comfortable and at ease – especially those who may feel nervous about visiting the dentist. He graduated from University of Plymouth and enjoys treatments of composite fillings and crowns.

Outside of work he enjoys running and trying new restaurants

Jas started with Queens Road in 2013 and relocated to Brookview in 2018. Jas has been a hygienist for over 25 years qualifying at Eastman Dental Hospital in London in 1995. Her job entails treating and preventing gum disease in order to preserve your teeth for life. In combination with this, she gives patients oral hygiene advice according to their needs and enjoys interacting with patients. She particularly enjoys treating nervous patients and puts them at ease, she likes to keep updated on any professional developments and on any new products. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music and socialising with my friends.

Shauna qualified as a Nurse nearly 10 years ago, she started at the practice in 2013. Over the years, she has grown with the practice and is now our Practice Manager. Shauna is keen to learn new qualifications within her role and works hard to keep her own personal development up to date and has completed many courses. She is a Qualified assessor and has been a mentor for our student nurses at the practice and at local colleges. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing the smile transformations and the confidence it brings out in patients, she enjoys managing the team and ensuring the practice runs smoothly. In Shauna’s spare time you will find her travelling and spending time with her two boys.

Kate has been a Dental Receptionist since 2013 Kate relocated from Queens Road Dental Care to Brookview Dental in 2018. Kate is one of the first point of contacts with patients and you will usually hear her before you see her! Kate has many years of experience in Denplan and is happy to help with any Denplan queries may have or to help with any sign up process. Kate is also a Dementia friend for the practice and wears her badge with pride.

Sasha is one of our friendly dental receptionists and often the first smile you’ll see when you arrive at Brookview. With nine years of customer service experience, she enjoys making patients feel welcome, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit.

Outside of work, Sasha loves spending time with friends, exploring new places on long walks, and travelling to different countries whenever she gets the chance.

Hannah qualified as a Dental Nurse, in 2007. Hannah relocated to Brookview Dental from Queens Road in 2018. Hannah has built strong rapports with patients and has really enjoyed getting to know new patients at Brookview Dental. She prides herself on keeping up to date with all aspects of dentistry and has a keen interest in nursing for paediatric patients and nervous patients. Hannah enjoys being able to make a difference to patients and their supporting family and friends when visiting Brookview.

Alice started at the practice as a student dental nurse and has recently qualified. She is enjoying learning the theory side of dental nursing and gaining new skills. Alice is excellent with children of all ages as she has in the past been a registered Ofsted childminder and enjoys promoting good oral health to children and organising activities.

With 10 years of experience in dentistry, Nikkita works as a Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, and manages the practices digital marketing. She is in her 3rd year at Nottingham Trent University, studying a degree in Digital Marketing, and enjoys creating engaging before-and-after content for Invisalign and other treatments.

Outside of work, she loves travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Zaara joined our team a year ago, beginning her career in dentistry with us. She is deeply committed to providing exceptional dental care and consistently pursues opportunities for professional growth and development.

Nita graduated from Barts and is passionate about creating a warm, calm environment where every patient feels heard, valued, and fully involved in their care.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending quality time with friends.

Maddison is excited to start her journey in dental nursing, joining us for her first role in the field. Eager to learn and grow, she looks forward to providing great care and supporting the team. In her spare time, Maddison enjoys playing rugby and socialising with friends and family.
